Lead work is a traditional roofing skill that remains highly relevant today, particularly for period properties and complex roofing details. Sterling Roofing employs skilled craftsmen experienced in all aspects of lead work including valley gutters, parapet walls, dormers, bay windows, and flashing details. We use code 4, 5, 6, and 7 lead as appropriate for each application, ensuring compliance with BS 6915 and Lead Sheet Association guidelines. Our lead work is built to last, with proper expansion joints and fixings to prevent common problems like thermal movement and wind uplift.
